Initial consultation
In a free initial consultation of around 30 minutes, we will discuss your learning objectives and decide whether or not to go ahead. If I feel that I cannot help you (it has happened only once so far), I will be honest about that. And of course, you will only proceed if you feel comfortable with me and my approach.
Package & scheduling
The standard package comprises ten one-hour sessions spread over a maximum of ten weeks. Most of my clients choose to schedule one or two sessions per week. If you need a more intensive course (in preparation for a particular event, for example), that’s also possible.
The sessions are scheduled to fit your diary, and I understand that you might sometimes need to reschedule at the last minute. I am offering a premium service and working with only a handful of clients at any one moment. I aim to be flexible in meeting your needs, so long as we complete the course of sessions within the period initially agreed.
Billing
I charge €100 (excl. VAT) per session. This covers the lesson itself, the tailor-made materials, and the preparation time. Even using all the AI tools at my disposal, each one-hour session requires at least half an hour of preparation work.
You will receive an invoice for the agreed package of sessions on (or around) the date of our first lesson. I will only expect settlement of that bill if you are happy with the first session and want to continue.
Technology
The video calls usually take place using Microsoft Teams, but we can use Zoom, if you prefer. I generally use other Microsoft applications for scheduling, since most of my clients plan their diaries in Outlook.
